K-rauta and Rautia into Mobile Age

Rautakesko Ltd runs hardware and household furnishing shop business within the Nordics, Baltics and North-Eastern Russia, as well as agriculture supply business in Finland. The company is part of Kesko Group, managing and developing altogether six strong retail chains. Of these chains, K-rauta and Rautia have launched mobile internet sites, targeted for builders. Mobile internet sites have been implemented by mFabrik Widi Services.

“We re-built recently our whole internet site, and since our customers are often mobile and also equipped with mobile devices, we wanted to ease and optimize their use with mobile phones”, tells Mr Jyri Heinonen, Development Manager of Rautakesko.

“We selected mFabrik to build both K-rauta and Rautia mobile web sites for us. And both the speed and clarity of these mobile sites are much appreciated by our customers”, appraises Heinonen. The customers can now obtain information on the locations and opening hours of the shops, as well as on the available products and services, via the new m.k-rauta.fi/ m.rautia.fi mobile web sites.
