Due to the rather challenging conditions on the venue text messaging was a reliable and modern choice for the task. The ideas and comments gathered were immediately in electronic format, which enables us to span the event easily further in time, e.g. as blog discussions", reasons Doctor Juha Pekka Turunen, responsible for educational offering of Duodecim.

mFabrik's service user interface was operated on-site by Mr Marco Sabell who received a lot of positive feedback from the participants: "People were happy to be able to comment "silently" - and the most eager ones exploited this opportunity several times during the seminar". Text messaging seems to suit especially well for the more quiet participants of an event; as a medium to truly participate in it. According to the arrangers, text message voting, in turn, worked nicely as summing up the hectic seminar days.
